Refund Policy

Refund terms for Flatproof paid plans, including the 14-day refund window, Paddle processing, cancellations, and EU consumer rights.

Flatproof subscriptions are sold through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles checkout, invoices, tax, payment processing, and refund disbursement.

14-Day Refund Window

If Flatproof is not a fit, you may request a refund within 14 days of your first paid subscription payment for a plan. This applies to monthly and annual paid plans unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

After 14 Days

After the 14-day window, payments are generally non-refundable. You can cancel your subscription before renewal and keep access to paid features until the end of the paid billing period.

Usage and Abuse

We may deny or limit refunds where there has been substantial use, abuse, fraud, repeated refund requests, violation of the Terms of Use, or attempts to use refunds to avoid normal plan limits.

Beta Issues

Flatproof is a beta product, so bugs and interruptions may happen. If a beta issue prevents normal use during your refund window, contact support and we will try to help, extend reasonable guidance, or process an eligible refund.

How to Request a Refund

Email [email protected] from the address associated with your Flatproof account. Include your workspace or organization name, the billing email, and a short note that you are requesting a refund.

Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed by Paddle. Refunds usually take 5 to 10 business days to appear on your card or payment account, depending on your payment provider.

EU Consumer Rights

This policy does not limit mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country. If applicable law gives you broader cancellation or refund rights, those rights apply.
